Job description / Role

Responsibilities:
• Attain new business development goals assigned
• Develop relationships with influencers / decision makers of utilities and esco’s
• Thought leader responsible to create new innovative EFI services and products by collaborating, working with marketing and understanding future industry trends and needs
• Travel and attend and represent EFI at trade shows throughout U.S.
• Follow defined EFI pipeline management process which details activity on new accounts, revenue, utilization, calls, etc. using company CRM

Requirements

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
• 10 plus years of sales, new business or marketing experience in the energy efficiency industry
• Has knowledge and direct experience working for or with specific national esco’s
• Has knowledge of energy efficiency industry and interdependencies of large utilities, energy service companies and issues facing the industry

Specific Knowledge and Skills:
• Has knowledge and direct experience working for or with specific national esco’s
• Has knowledge of energy efficiency industry and interdependencies of large utilities, energy service companies and issues facing the industry
• Process-focused and highly organized, analytical and metrics-driven approach to driving results
• Must possess strong negotiation and selling skills and excellent customer service skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
• COM experience
• Ability to work independently and travel up to 30+%
• Willingness to support Energy Federation’s mission statement
• Other duties as assigned
