Chief Structural Engineer

Job description / Role

Client is a leading multi disciplinary engineering consultancy with offices in Saudi Arabia and Jordan and who posses and excellent track record and reputation in the market place. They are currently looking to recruit a Chief Structural engineer to be based in their Amman office.

The role is to manage in detail the structural design process technically and to follow up the design development of buildings being worked on which could include low, medium and high rise projects from initial conception and preliminary design to final design and tender documentation level.

Requirements

Candidates must have a degree in structural engineering and must be fully conversant with British and American codes and standards for building structures design and be familiar with QA-QC procedures applicable to a structural design office.

Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of structural systems and materials and extensive experience in analysis and design of building of building structural frames and foundations. Candidates should be familiar with structural design software and should preferably be able to speak Arabic.
