Working pattern: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

The school

Springwell Community College is an 11-16 secondary school in Staveley, Northeast Derbyshire. Our aim at Springwell is to deliver a great education to our students. We expect our students to work hard every day towards these and be kind to each other, themselves, and their community.

The role

Cover supervisors are responsible for supervising lessons with prepared resources in the absence of the teacher and providing support more generally in school. The balance of the working week can vary, but the priority of this role is the supervision of a class of students and maintaining a productive learning environment.

The person

The ideal candidate will be adaptable, confident, and have the ability to maintain confidential information. The person will have a positive ‘can do’ approach and excellent communication skills.
