Optimiza is seeking a skilled data warehouse administrator to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our data warehouse environment, ensuring data availability, integrity, and performance. You will leverage your experience to implement best practices for data warehousing, support data integration processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business intelligence needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the data warehouse architecture, ensuring efficient ETL processes and data loading from various sources.
• Monitor and optimize data warehouse performance, including query tuning and resource management.
• Oversee data integrity and accuracy through data quality checks and validation processes.
• Work closely with data analysts and business intelligence teams to understand data requirements and ensure timely delivery of data to stakeholders.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data against loss or corruption.
• Document data warehouse processes, procedures, and configurations for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data warehousing, recommending improvements to current systems and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data warehousing administration and management.
• Extensive experience with data warehouse technologies (e.g., Teradata, Snowflake, Oracle) and ETL tools.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
• Experience with data modeling and database design principles.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Relevant certifications in data warehousing or database management are a plus.
