Employment: Full Time

The EDP Team Leader is responsible for leading team activities related to electronic data for ensuring the communication phase and file transmission set up of any new opening.

Key Accountabilities
• Validate new business processes and setup on the live environment
• Confirm necessary training is provided to all users in the shops on all related EDP transactions including receiving, cycle counts, pricing etc.
• Review the accuracy of cost vs. retail provided by the supplier in order to respect the agreed margin
• Assure accurate analysis of file structures and enhance the import/export procedures and batches accordingly
• Ensure proper communication with the suppliers is conducted when file problems occur to maintain accurate file structures
• Monitor proper testing and transmission of data communication prior to the new store opening date
• Research and provide new business solutions for the receiving and cycle count processes
• Assist in recruiting, training, motivating and evaluating his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company
• Ensure the proper implementation of policies/procedures by providing the needed support to validate the electronic data transmissions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a related field
• Fluency in English
• Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge in SQL is a plus
