Job Description Summary

A career in our Deals practice, will provide you the opportunity to help organizations realize the potential of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and capital markets. In short, we help some of the world's leading companies originate, create, execute, and realize value from deals. Through data driven insights we help our clients move in the right direction ensuring maximum value for their company.

Our team assists organizations with both buy side and sell side due diligence. As part of our team, you'll help us provide both corporate and financial buyers with peace of mind by analyzing and validating all the financial, commercial, operational and strategic assumptions being made.

How will you value-add?

As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to more senior members,
- Train and lead staff,
- Establish effective working relationships directly with clients.
- Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen,
- Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
- Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Requirements

About you

- Recognised Degree qualification in Business and/or Accounting related fields.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or similar certification
- Minimum 7 years and above of relevant financial due diligence, audit, or financial services sector experience.
- Solid exposure and understanding of the financial services sector including knowledge in business processes, accounting principles, relevant financial reporting standards (IFRSs) especially IFRS9, sector trends and dynamics.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of financial analysis techniques, including ability to underlyze financial statements and understand key financial indicators and drivers of key financial performance
- Strong understanding of the key risks entities in the financial services sector are exposed to such as credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, interest rate risk, etc. and the impact of each on the financials of entities
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of regional regulatory requirements of entities operating in the financial services sector
- Manage and oversee transaction services including due diligence, transaction structuring, and deal negotiation for clients.
- Prepare and review detailed financial analysis and reports, including but not limited to financial statements, management accounts, and forecasts
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing feedback and coaching to help them develop their skills and knowledge
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including regular communication and meetings to ensure client satisfaction and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as legal and tax professionals, to ensure smooth and efficient transaction execution.
- Provide exceptional client service throughout the transactional process, ensuring the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other financial analysis tools, Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication ability as well as strong analytical and evaluation skills; whilst demonstrating accuracy and attention to details when working in a fast paced environment.
- Dynamic personality with ability to demonstrate leadership and inspire trust to clients
- A self-starter with a high level of initiative.
- A positive attitude and strong organizational skills are essential.
- Highly adaptable, able to work independently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently on short notice is essential.
