Job Description & Summary:

Summary of role and reporting line

- The right kind of candidate will offer strategic support in a non-client-facing role and handle operations for practice financials and account management in liaison with the Business Unit's Partners, Directors and the Business Unit Finance Analyst(s). The candidate must be comfortable working with numerous internal support departments on projects relating to our people, clients & knowledge management. 

Requirements

Essential skills & attributes:

- 2-4 years of relevant experience in finance in a Big Four or other advisory firm preferable
- ACA, CFA or ACCA qualified and/or Master/Bachelors' degree in Finance/Accounting
- Hands on financial modelling experience with proficiency in MS Excel
- Ability to read & understand financial statements & audit reports and perform financial analysis
- Ability to perform valuations and investment appraisals 
- Bilingual: Strong command of both English and Arabic is essential
- Extensive knowledge of relevant computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office), Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Education

- Masters / Bachelors (Finance)
- Working towards ACA, CFA or ACCA qualification

- Strong analytical skills but tempered with an ability to think laterally
- Ability to deliver high quality written work
- Strong attention to detail combined with an ability to see the big picture
- Ability to work effectively in teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence when interacting with others
- Ability to quickly grasp key business drivers and specific valuation issues
