Charterhouse is working with a regional bank who are looking to hire a Head of Talent to manage a regional role from their office in Jordan. This role will report directly to the Director of HR, and will be responsible for the designing L&D strategy, delivering and evaluating training and development.

The Head of Learning and Development will develop and implement L&D framework, contribute to training analysis by conducting reports and training data, as well as handling annual budgeting for the L&D Plan. This role will be responsible for design, whilst partnering with Business Partners for vendor selection and customization of in-house training plans. Along with conducting thorough research of internal and external sources to define learning requirements and content, collaborating with subject matter experts for the organizations training programs, the Head of Learning and Development will also be responsible for speaker sessions, delivering training programs and running internship programs.

Alongside this, the role will develop and maintain effective learning-related communication materials, guides, and tools, and conduct market research and review options for public courses that align with training needs. The Head of Learning and Development will also plan, design, and implement key technical programs, including the Analyst Development Program, Financial Modelling Program, and all levels of the CFA In-house Program. In addition, this role will manage succession planning models for the group, and develop the E-Learning Platform.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for candidates with a minimum of 10 years within L&D ideally with a background working within Financial. The successful candidate will have excellent IT Skills, using variety of software, LMS and E-Learning Tools. The ideal candidate will be a people passionate individual, with excellent communication skills, fluent in English, both written and verbal and must be familiar with the business terminology used in investment management and solid knowledge and understanding of the Instructional System Design theory and practice.
