Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The HR Specialist is responsible for providing a professional HR service within general policies and professional standards in order to support the effective provision of high quality HR services across the business.

Key Accountabilities

- Provide professional coaching and advice to internal customers to ensure that HR policies are properly implemented
- Develop strong working internal relationships, acknowledge good performance and behavior and ensure proper investigation on issues and conflicts
- Liaise with line managers to ensure a full understanding of their requirements and preferences, interview and select eligible applicants as per the set company policy
- Manage the performance appraisal system on a bi-yearly basis
- Maintain an open door policy with employees in order to ensure a smooth communication, and work toward maintaining a low turnover rate
- Conduct training needs assessments under the consultation of the hierarchy; prepare and deliver training courses in line with the Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
- Initiate and contribute to the development and/or implementation of functional and/or corporate projects
- Monitor and record training activities and programs

Requirements

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar field; Retail training experience is a major plus
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in MS Office
