Job Description & Summary
The mission of the LDC is simple: to better enable PwC Legal to deliver world class legal solutions to our clients. We do that by bringing our skills and experience to provide legal services in a new way, using technology and creative thinking to solve our clients' toughest challenges.

You will be a graduate with a legal background who has spent time practising law but who is now looking for something different in the legal services industry. Working in a small team in our new office in Jordan, you will find yourself at the forefront of legal technology and legal services. You will be connected to over 70 colleagues in PwC Legal across the region, and will have the opportunity to develop your legal career as the practice builds.

As a Manager you'll supervise, coach and coordinate the work of a team of legal professionals, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will manage a team supporting lawyers across multiple jurisdictions and a wide range of practice areas including Corporate, Employment and Fintech. On any given day, you could be leading a due diligence exercise using the latest AI tools or working and liaising with a range of stakeholders in delivering a project and its objectives, including partners, fee-earners and legal technologists.

Key responsibilities

The role will be varied and cover both internal and client facing activities including:

- Managing and supervising the LDC team across all workstreams and requests 
- Liaising with key stakeholders / internal clients to ensure that requirements are understood and work is prioritised - to put key stakeholders first and cascade a "can do" mindset
- Ensuring that SLAs are met
- Building the profile of the team through the delivery of excellent quality work
- Supporting the successful delivery and adoption of change which provides value to the business
- Using legal technology solutions to drive the efficient delivery of projects 
- Ensuring effective and quality delivery
- Supporting the development of the team by contributing to the creation of enhanced standards for delivery and ongoing learning opportunities
- Working across multiple projects/initiatives at different stages to add value s

Requirements

The LDC support PwC Legal across a full range of activities and expect the types of work to include the following:

- Working with legal technology such as document automation, AI and CLM solutions
- Preparing, reviewing, comparing, formatting and redacting documents and reports
- Supporting with due diligence projects
- Updating, monitoring and running reports on our legal entity management system
- Creating, tailoring and updating proposals, credentials, flyers and other business development collateral
- Conducting legal research and translations 
- Creating closing checklists
- Assisting with the creation of proposals, brochures, placemats and presentations
- Supporting with managed legal services activities
- Supporting with client onboarding processes

Additional Skills

- Ability to supervise, train and manage a team of professionals with quality and stakeholder experience as guiding principles
- Responsible for establishing contact with internal clients and nurturing relationships to build the trust and value that our clients desire
- Be naturally curious, eager to take the initiative, enjoy testing ideas to find better ways of doing things, and are good at balancing a bold spirit with a sensible risk appetite
- Keep up-to-date with technical developments for the business
- Proven experience in managing stakeholders at all levels of seniority
- Excellent communication skills- able to confidently communicate in a clear, concise and articulate manner - verbally and in written form
- Have commercial acumen including an understanding of the overall picture of how to add value to the business and within LDC delivery
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
- Proven experience of working across a business at a senior level, preferably on multiple concurrent projects or initiatives
- The ability to constructively challenge the status quo with business stakeholders in seeking the best outcomes 
- An analytical mindset - able to quickly understand requirements, and to identify, evaluate, and propose, potential solutions
- The ability to identify risks to projects and evaluate and seek to mitigate the potential impact
- High level of personal credibility, impact and influence with all  levels of the business
