We currently are seeking a highly motivated IT Transformation Manager to support client engagement teams within EY’s insurance team.

In this role, you'll actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. With guidance from partners, directors and senior managers, you'll identify potential business opportunities for EY. Drawing on your knowledge and experience, you'll create innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs and contribute to thought leadership.

You'll actively contribute to business and IT transformation projects, aimed at improving business performance and operational efficiency and effectiveness. In line with EY's commitment to quality, you'll also consistently drive projects to completion and confirm that work is of high quality. Your role in leading teams - or parts of teams - on engagements will depend on the size of engagement. When working on engagements, you'll report to higher levels of management, who will expect you to anticipate and identify risks, and escalate any issues as appropriate.

As an influential member of the team, you'll help to create a positive learning culture, coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.

EY is seeking experienced Managers to join the Insurance Team within the IT Advisory service line. We have positions open across Dubai and Riyadh.

Client responsibilities
- Participate in IT Advisory engagements, primarily within the insurance sector, but potentially within the wider financial services practice.
- Help manage the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders
- Participate in business development initiatives
- Build strong internal relationships within EY Advisory Services and with other service lines across the organization

People responsibilities
- Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff
- Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff
- Contribute to people-related initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training IT Advisory professionals
- Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills of staff
- Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures

Requirements

- Significant expertise in design and implementation of major software packages for the insurance sector
- Design and implementation of digital solutions
- Design and implementation of ERP systems
- Solution architecture (including data, enterprise and technical)
- Vendor/application sourcing for technology enabled transformation
- Systems delivery, support and advice
- Systems integration, support and advice
- Project Management within technology enabled transformation projects
- Change Management within technology enabled transformation projects
- IT program assurance
- Business architecture
- IT strategy

Additional requirements
- Experience of working within the insurance sector
- Demonstrated track record with a blue chip consulting organization is desirable, but not essential
- Proficiency in Arabic language is desirable, but not essential
- 5-7 years of the above related work experience
- Degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field; MBA or MS degree preferred
