HR Enablement Preboarding Consultant - Amman

The opportunity

You will work within the pre-boarding function, providing support across the MENA region, ensuring that the best people solutions are delivered to meet the people strategy imperatives of the business. You will provide on-boarding enablement related advice and guidance to both the employees and the team.

Your key responsibilities

As an Pre-boarding consultant, you will oversee the transition of departing employees across the region. The role requires system administration, liaison with different functional team, and support and advice to our employees and internal teams. Responsible for resolving problems relating to the onboarding process which will vary by candidate and location. The on-boarding process commences from when a candidate has accepted their offer up until the end of their probation period, supporting all new hires from junior to director level. Other key responsibilities include:

- Provide an exceptional new joiner experience ensuring when they join the firm their experience lives up to our EVP
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all elements of the new joiner process
- Escalate complex or sensitive cases to the Onboarding Lead, ER and Talent Consultant as appropriate
- Identify potential problems and opportunities related to the implementation of onboarding
- Be responsible for excel reporting to support new joiner requirements
- Help internal clients and colleagues adjust to change in EY processes and structures by identifying likely issues and providing support to enable the change
- Understand local onboarding regulations and ensure full compliance

Requirements

Skills and attributes for success

- Building positive relationships with the broader Talent Team including immigration and other CBS functions
- Understanding the correct methodologies, tools and technology and using them in an efficient manner
- Demonstrating strong MS office skills and a willingness to acquire new skills to effectively utilise internal reporting systems

To qualify for the role you must have

- 3-5 years' experience of working in HR operations or a similar function
- Knowledge of HR systems, basic HR measurement and process improvement preferred
- Excellent communication skills, whether written or verbal

Ideally, you'll also have

- Experience within the MENA region
- CIPD qualified. A post graduate qualification in a Business or Human Relations discipline is desirable.
