About the role

We are looking for a sales professional to join our regional sales team as Sales Manager covering Jordan. This individual will drive the development and implementation of sales programs targeting prospective customers, current customers and other key contacts vital to generating sales opportunities. This person will be the central point of contact within their region and must be comfortable with ambiguously defined problems, challenges, and can balance thinking with tactical, detailed execution.

Understanding the market requirements to define, position, adoption and expansion of market, this individual will be responsible for the successful execution of the company strategy in Jordan.

This is an international role where the ability to bridge cultures and build lasting professional relationships are critical success factors.

Working with identified colleagues, sales leaders, marketing and development resources, this individual will play a key role in evangelising Careem's offer as well as executing sales programs to meet revenue goals as well as customer and community awareness.

Requirements

Essential
• University Degree
• Experience in sales and business development with minimum 3 years of active account/sales management
• Experience in the Jordanian Market
• Ability to liaise with multiple disciplines including escalating problems when required
• Experience in working with multinational companies, culture, and ethics
• Self motivation and energy
• Comfortable with regular national travel and at short notice
• Fluent in Arabic and in English

Desirable
• Account/Project management
• IT industry experience
• Knowledge of Ground Transportation business
• Essential
• Superior oral/written communication & listening skills
• Ability to solve problems and act quickly
• Technical savvy
• Fluent in French
• Sociable and good relationship builder
