Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented semi senior external auditor to join our client (audit firm). The ideal candidate will have a solid background in external auditing, a good understanding of IFRS and ISA standards, and the ability to contribute effectively to audit engagements. This role is essential for supporting our audit projects and ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing audit assignments from start to finish, including fieldwork, documentation, and reporting.
• Perform audit procedures to evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and adherence to regulations.
• Review and analyze financial statements and audit reports according to IFRS and ISA standards.
• Work closely with clients to address audit findings and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Support and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and training where necessary.
• Utilize audit software (e.g., CaseWare) to document audit findings and maintain accurate working papers.
• Stay updated on current auditing standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant external audit experience, preferably with a reputable accounting firm.
• Knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with audit software (CaseWare) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
