Employment: Full Time

Assist IA Manager to develop and execute Internal Audit Plan and take a lead role in implementation of audit fieldwork

Client Details

Our client is a leading Investment Group with focus on Financial Investments, Real Estate, Food and Retail and Industrial sectors.

Description

* Identifies and communicates issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant to business and risk
* Ensures audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process,circumstances, and risk
* Discharges audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives
* Obtains and reviews evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well-documented
* Ensures adherence at all times to all applicable department and professional standards
* Communicates assigned tasks to engagement team in a manner that is clear and concise ensuring high quality, accurate, and efficient results
* Organises personal effort to be risk-based, productive, and efficient at all times
* Performs other related duties as assigned
* Contributes to audit project planning activities as required by Audit management
* Ensures permanent files are maintained for allocated investments and companies as required
* Maintains current management information and reporting for allocated investments and companies as required.

Requirements

* Experience of complex audits in a corporate environment, knowledge and experience in business cycles and more tailored commercial reviews
* Use of related IT audit tools and techniques including (ACL)
* Ability to learn on the job and manage multiple tasks
* Good interpersonal, people and team working skills
* A commitment to enhancing communications, both written and verbally
* Attention to detail
* Problem solving
* Good verbal and report writing skills in English
* Interviews and walkthroughs to high documentation standards
* Understanding tailored audit programmes
* Good Excel / Word / Visio / PowerPoint/data analysis skills
* Required: 3 years + Big 4 or Blue Chip training, Middle East Experience
* Required: University Degree, Part Qualified CA, CPA, ACCA Desirable: CIA, CISA
* SOCPA, CMA related qualifications (In the absence of other professional qualifications CIA IIA must be completed within 24 months of joining AMG GIA)
