Employment: Full Time

The objective of our advisory risk services is to provide clients with a candid and reliable overview of their risk landscape. Our solutions can be used by our clients to build confidence and trust with their customers, the overall market and when required by regulation or contract

Your Key Responsibilities

You will be part of a team working under the supervision of an Engagement manager responsible for managing multiple client engagement teams at an executive level within the practice and the firm. You will be working with high level client personnel to delivering successful real estate development and construction project assessments by identifying contracting strategies, implementing cost & schedule controls and capital management systems. You will support the client by assessing the adequacy and completeness of construction schedules, costs, monitoring techniques, change management frameworks, and overall project controls

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Provide guidance and share knowledge with team members and participate in performing procedures especially focusing on complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues.
• Maintain relationships with client management to manage expectations of service,including work products, timing, and deliverables. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of independent construction program reviews, on-going project and process monitoring, and project risk assessments.
• Bring and utilize extensive knowledge of the client's business/industry to identify technological developments and evaluate impacts on the client's business.Demonstrate excellent project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology/tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
• Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess what the firm can deliver to serve clients.

Requirements

To qualify for the role you must have

• A bachelor's with preferably a master's degree
•A minimum of 3 years experience working in a Real Estate and/or Construction Management industry, or Consultancy firm within the Capital projects sector
• Bring your significant experience in applying relevant technical knowledge in atleast one of the following engagements:

- Proven project management, cost estimation and engineering, accounting, schedule, procurement, claim and Change management assessment experience as it relates to complex commercial and/or construction management
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following systems Primavera, SAP, Oracle, Aconex, or other similar system(s) preferred

• 50% travel outside of assigned office location plus commute within the region is expected.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and a Master’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Schedule Management, or MBA
• MRICS,PMP,LEED, Six Sigma, PE or CCIM certification is desired
