Job description / Role
• Expert HTML/CSS/JS/AJAX coding capabilities. HTML5 and CSS3 are plus.
• Expert knowledge of browser rendering capabilities, limitations and standards.
• Experience building international web sites and have a solid understanding of localization best practices.
• Highly competent with user interface, information architecture principles and the intricacies of web site design for complex functionality.
• Expert at front¬end engineering using Object¬Oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries and micro frameworks (jQuery, Angular, Prototype, Dojo, Backbone, YUI).
• As a Software Engineer (Frontend) you will play a key role in developing both front¬end systems and you will be a member of buying customers experience team.
• You should have front end HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience.
• You should be comfortable working with a Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP (LAMP) environment and must be able to clearly understand requirements and ask questions to obtain clarity when in doubt.
Requirements
• 4+ years with technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Working in a collaborative team environment using tools like JIRA and Git.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant degree.
Core Competencies:
• Complex SQL queries and database schema design.
• Service oriented architecture.
