Software Test Engineer - Amman, Jordan
Fetchr continues to grow and we're looking for Software Test Engineers to join our Software Engineering team based in Amman, Jordan.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the implementation and execution of automation test frameworks for functional testing.
- Work with the developers to write automated tests for each sprint.
- Strong passion for learning and following industry best practices;
- Take an active role in the agile planning process; validating requirements by reviewing agile stories and questioning their content.
- Ability to work as part of a global integrated delivery team.
- Conduct test-leveling exercises to determine the best test layer to secure code quality.
- Provide accurate and clear testing status updates across multiple projects.

What you'll need to succeed in your new role
- Working knowledge of scripting or programming languages including Java, Python, javascript.
- Proven experience translating software requirements/stories into accurate and complete test scenarios, including identifying the detailed test data needs.
- Database skills, mainly in PostgreSQL .
- Experience with web application standards (Web services, JSON, HTTP, HTTPs) and API testing.
- Automation experience ( Selenium,cucumber) .
- Technical background and an understanding of the logistics industry.
