Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- International Contractor specialising in the development of Power & Transmission projects are looking for a Business Development Manager.
- They currently have operations in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi and India. Typical types of projects include the construction of Power Plants, Oil Refineries, Transmission Lines and Substations.
- After long-term success in the Middle East and India, they have decided to expand the business to the CIS Region (Russia, Armenia, Ukraine etc) and Iraq. With this, they are looking for two x Business Development Managers. (One for CIS region and one for Iraq.)

Requirements

- This person will have experience of working in Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Moldova, Ukraine Or Iraq (dependent on position applied for.)
- Will have a proven track record within Business Development, specifically within Power Transmission and Distribution
- Analyzing market potential, business options and recommending strategies to the board.
- Local contacts / market knowledge will obviously be extremely advantageous.
- Relevant degree (ideally in Electrical Engineering)
- Responsible for examining risks / potential risk and maximizing business opportunity.
- Must have a strong personality with sales background preferred.
- Must be a self starter who can stand on his own two feet and think outside the box.
