Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Position Accountabilities and Qualifications
• 10+ years of sales and marketing leadership experience in generic and/or over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceuticals
• Experience managing a portfolio of US based products and product launch requirements for future pipeline development
• Intimate understanding of the interrelationship between Group Purchasing Organization business and wholesale source programs
• Understanding of all channels of Cardinal’s business and the potential crossover between Institutional, Government, Retail, Long Term Care and Internet
• Knowledge of industry sourcing programs and government contracting
• Strong P/L and accounting knowledge; operational experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability leading teams of in excess of 100
• People oriented leader with compassion, vision and exceptional communication skills
• Proven track record of setting and achieving company goals and visions; experience building a culture of collaboration and teamwork
• Ability to bring together cross functional teams that work collaboratively towards common goals
• Create a culture that fosters the exchange of ideas
• Develop a co-creation forum with customers, ensuring we understand their challenges and needs; assist in the development of our forward on NPL’s and Solutions
• Experience negotiating and crafting current and future deal structures that create win-win situations for Cardinal and our customers

• High attention to detail and ability to detect inconsistencies
• Strong project management skills
• Strong ability to develop relationships internally and externally
• Ability to travel 40 percent
• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred
