HSE Manager - O&G - Contractor

Job description / Role

• An international contractor are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to oversee health, safety, and environmental aspects of a major mechanical oil and gas project in Kazakhstan. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures in line with Kazakhstani regulations and international standards
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
• Lead incident investigations and ensure timely reporting and corrective actions.
• Organize and deliver HSE training programs for all project personnel.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Further HSE qualifications such as Level 6/7 Diploma
• 15 + years of HSE experience in the oil and gas construction sector
• In-depth knowledge of international HSE laws and regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to work in a remote/challenging location
