Anesthesia Technician

Job description / Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our medical team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will support anesthesiologists by preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies, ensuring patient safety, and facilitating efficient anesthesia procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Assist anesthesiologists in setting up monitors and equipment for anesthesia delivery.
- Ensure all anesthesia machines and instruments are clean, sterilized, and functioning properly.
- Monitor and manage anesthesia supplies inventory and assist in ordering as needed.
- Maintain accurate records related to anesthesia equipment maintenance and usage.
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure seamless anesthesia care and patient safety.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions or emergencies during procedures.

- Diploma or certification in Anesthesia Technology or related medical field.
- Proven experience as an Anesthesia Technician or similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment, sterilization procedures, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and availability for emergency calls.
