Assistant Manager – Internal Communications – (Banking - Corporate Communications) – Kuwait.

Role:

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communication Division, you will develop and execute the Bank’s overall Internal Communication Plans; ensuring Employees of the Bank are kept well informed and motivated; via communicating through several Channels; such as a Staff Website/Intranet, Email Bulletins, Social Media and regular Newsletters. Produce and deliver Messages and Campaigns on behalf of Senior Management, to facilitating two-way dialogue and developing the Communication skills of the Banks Employees and participants.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the Internal Communications Plans and Engagement Strategy, ensuring that Business Goals, Initiatives and People News are communicated effectively to Employees.
• Deliver end-to-end Internal Engagement Plans and Campaigns to inspire and engage Employees.
• Create and deliver high quality Creative Communication Material/Content through your own work and working with other internal and external Teams/Partners.
• Ensuring the most effective Channels and Tactics are used within stand-alone and on-going Communications so communication is clear and aligned with Banks Business Strategy.
• Act as a Trusted Advisor to the Communications Director, CEO, ExCo, Senior Leadership Team and others.
• Manage the delivery of any Conferences, including delivery of the Events for Employees and the Content.
• Build and foster relationships across Business Functions and Office/Branch Locations to ensure employees are engaged and informed no matter where they are based.
• Manage and enhance Internal Communications Channels, including the Company Website and share Company News in an engaging way through Communications Tools.
• Drive a Listening Culture and build Feedback Mechanisms into Internal Communications to enable Employees to have an opportunity for dialogue.
• Work closely with HR and other Senior Leaders across the Business to drive Employer Brand Strategy and Employee Value Proposition.
• Build a strong working relationship with Members of and participate in any Colleague Forum Meetings.
• Oversee the Bank’s Philanthropic Programme, including Charity Partnerships and Employee Activities such as local and international Volunteering opportunities.
• Participate in any Group-wide Campaigns by the Communications & Marketing Team.

Requirements

Requirements / Knowledge and Experience:

• 7 years relevant experience in a Strategic Communications role, ideally in-house with a Bank, with a focus on Internal Communications.
• Demonstrably successful record of accomplishment in a similar role in Private Sector and specifically Banking or Consulting firms.
• Experience in managing Senior Stakeholders within a Business.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in both English and Arabic.
• Experience with Social Media and Communications Tools and Databases.
• Manages multiple Projects and Tasks effectively, Plans well so deadlines are met and quality output is maintained, with minimal resources.
• Able to work effectively and productively with Internal Stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Kuwaiti Nationals.
