The opportunity

Working closely with the MENA Assurance Operations Leader and MENA Assurance Talent Leader to support the provision of advice and consultative guidance on all operations and talent matters that contribute to achievement of the business strategy and objectives. The role holder will be responsible for providing analysis, advice and insight that will have an impact on business performance after gathering all necessary information. They will also use their wide knowledge of policy and good practice to influence business decision making and to support successful change initiatives. The role holder will build strong internal and external networks to share good practice and market information.

Your key responsibilities

In this role, strategic partnering with the business will be essential, as you will be actively involved in business and data analysis, workforce / capacity management, planning and forecasting, talent and financial reporting. You will be responsible for developing models to analyze previous, current and future performance for support and to enable decision making. This will also require you to oversee all work to monitor compliance with project requirements and regulations, proactively maintain schedules and calendars, including extensive meeting coordination with leaders of the organization. You will set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress of project / activities, actively develop comprehensive project plans, create presentations for stakeholders on financial, operational and talent matters, updating the leadership team frequently.

This role will also serve as a liaison between internal and external contacts / clients, reviewing, prioritizing, and tracking email correspondence with discretion. You will support the preparation of meeting agendas, talking points and presentation materials, in advance of meetings or events.

Requirements

To qualify for the role, you must have

- A bachelors degree in Finance or HR
- At least five years of experience in strategic planning, project management and financial analysis
- At least five years of experience in workforce and capacity management, planning and forecasting
- Be a super user of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience assimilating and articulating data for use by C - Suite executives
- Experience delivering detailed client reports, presentations and proposals
- Excellent time management skills, fluent verbal and written communication skills
- A high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
- Effective organizational skills
- Effective team work and coordination skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results quickly

Ideally you'll also have

- MBA in finance or HR
- Proficiency in the Arabic language
- Experience with professional services firms
