Employment: Full Time

Role Summary:

The billing manager will be responsible for ensuring proper adherence & implementation of billing processes & policies in the region. He/She will be focal point for tracking customer billing & collection, cost pacing and liquidation. The billing manager will also work with the billing leader on streamlining effective billing processes across the region.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role you will partner closely with the sub-region fulfillment team to meet business and customer needs across the organization, manage complex billing & cost issues, be involved in project closeout, and contribute to the overall business strategy and financial results. Key responsibilities of a billing manager include:

- Team with CPM/CSM to track and drive the rigor and discipline to ensure timely billing
- Project cost classification & accumulation against PO
- Assist fulfillment team in complex customer invoice creation & communication
- PO Documentation & storage and load to ERP
- Assist fulfillment team in any complex billing issues
- Responsible for weekly billing tracker for sub region
- Meet power services targets for billing, post outage activities, contract fulfillment.
- Work with Billing Leader on driving billing process improvement
- Focal point for Field Service Portal in sub-region
- Support fulfillment team as needed in completion of outage and customer relationship deliverables
- Support CPMs/CSMs in complex project setup and order entry
- IBAT Maintenance

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Previous experience with billing systems and cost liquidation
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a customer support or operations position
- Service contract execution experience

Desired Characteristics:

- Strong quality and process background
- Experience in Power Service planning tools, processes, and systems-e.g. Field Service Portal, PowerMax, FoxTrot, MyFLeet, Alpha, Charlie
- Prior profit & loss experience
- Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong financial and commercial skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving abilities
