We are now seeking an exceptional BIM Manager to join our award winning team based in our Kuwait Office.

This critical role will be responsible for leading and managing BIM at an operational level to ensure consistency of BIM uses and processes to support all stages of projects.

Responsibilities

Paramount to success within this varied role will include

- Performing the role of Project Information Manager and/or Task Team Manager for all BIM outputs and deliverables.
- Providing hands-on training to internal disciplines i.e. Revit, Dynamo, Revit Add-ins, Navisworks, BIM360, Solibri and others as required.
- Chairing BIM review meetings/workshops with Client including consultants and/or contractors.
- Managing the BIM/design process such that the highest quality of design deliverables is submitted for project team reviews.
- Carries out BIM/design reviews, across all design stages or specific design packages.
- Contributing specialist expertise that will enhance the outputs of the design consultants and/or contractor in line with the BIM objectives of the project.
- Assisting procurement team in tender development and award i.e. BIM capability assessment, execution plan, level of development matrix, models, registers, dummy TQ's, service agreements and appointments.
- Providing BIM updates into monthly reports on status of design.
- Engaging teams to participate and collaborate in internal forums.
- Identifying and assisting in creating content to enhance our digital asset and detail libraries.
- Championing the 'I' in BIM to leverage data collection and query for purposes of design intelligence, optimization, automation, simulation and downstream exploration for artificial intelligence.
- Awareness of other digital design technologies like VR, AR, MR, AI, ML, 3D printing, drones, point cloud, generative design, automation and others.
- Supporting IT to manage inventory of BIM software, licenses and systems.

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 10 years' experience with a minimum of 3 years' in a similar role partnered with a Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture or equivalent.

Additionally we will be seeking advanced proficiency in a range of computer aided design tools including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Solibri and various Revit add-ins such as COBie, Dynamo, and integration tools with Specification, Energy Analysis, Cost control, Engineering analysis. Experience in projects with BIM Level 2 requirements and advanced proficiency in BIM360 Docs and Design is required.
