Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Building Inspector to join our award-winning team in Kuwait. This critical role will be responsible for undertaking inspections on site in accordance with the civil related Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

• Implementing discipline-specific inspection and test plans (ITPs).
• Addressing Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors.
• Reviewing shop drawings against contract documents, local codes, international best practices, and statutory requirements.
• Identifying and reporting non-conforming work to immediate supervisor for appropriate action and issuance of discharge instructions to contractors.
• Monitoring work quality and assessing site safety, health, and environmental compliance.
• Inspecting and reporting on the quantity and technical compliance of delivered materials.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date daily activity records, including progress photos.
• Preparing Surveillance Reports for deficiencies and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as required.
• Maintaining a daily diary.
• Ensuring effective coordination between disciplines.
• Providing technical expertise to resolve site-related issues.
• Monitoring and reviewing contractor ITPs and quality plans.
• Communicating site progress information regularly.
• Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and project management.
• Contributing to the successful handover of the project.
• Performing other duties as assigned by team leadership.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will be a minimum of 10 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in a relevant Engineering field.
