Business Analytics Associate

Job description / Role

• Work with stakeholders (business units, product owners, project managers) to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and technical specifications for the development team or third-party vendors.
• Conduct thorough business analysis to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate existing business processes and workflows, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Recommend and design solutions to optimize business operations and enhance productivity.
• Map out current and future state business processes (using tools like BPMN, flowcharts, or UML diagrams).
• Support process automation initiatives and the implementation of process improvements.
• Analyze business performance metrics, sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to provide insights and recommendations.
• Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to key stakeholders to aid decision-making.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and performance against business goals.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to design effective technical solutions that meet business needs.
• Write clear and detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and use cases.
• Assist in the design of user acceptance testing (UAT) criteria and participate in UAT execution.

• Min 1 years of experience as a business analyst or in a related analytical role.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and document business processes.
• Experience in project management or managing small to medium-sized projects is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (advanced functions), PowerPoint, and Word.

Salary:
KWD 1,400 to 1,600 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
