Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Under minimal supervision, performs complex and diverse duties in support of a work area or group of individuals. Provides administrative support for multiple programs and projects. Anticipates and initiates actions regarding office operations which requires knowledge of the College and other departments. May function as a high level individual contributor or coordinator of multiple projects.
• Responds to inquiries requiring a broad understanding of work-area policies and procedures. Provides explanations and instructions. Ensures inquiries are addressed and resolved.
• Resolves highly complex problems requiring information from multiple sources or advanced knowledge.
• Assist in the assigned tasks in respect of quality awareness and quality culture campaign.
• Perform the administrative activities necessary to ensure maintenance of achieved ISO certificate and relevant necessary documents
• Assist in gathering ACK processes and advise on gaps for development or improvements.
• Maintain QM record keeping system of ACK.
• Assist in providing feedback to carry out internal audit.
• Assist in developing ACK quality manual, draft and contribute in putting quality services and standards and write the necessary quality procedures.
• Follows the college rules and regulations.
• Undertakes special projects to meet the objectives of the unit.
• Undertake other duties as required by the Manager- Quality Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
• Minimum 3 years experience in relevant field.
• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly developed organizational and time management skills.

About the Company

The Australian College of Kuwait has been established under Kuwait Law 34/2000, governing private universities in Kuwait, to provide internationally recognized and accredited education and training to the Business, Engineering, and Maritime sectors. It was licensed by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education under Amiri Decree 141/2003 and commenced operation in October 2004.

The Private Universities Council (PUC) oversees the operation of ACK from the governments perspective and has accredited the College to operate as a provider of higher education courses. Initially offering two-year diploma courses, ACK now has PUC approval to offer degree programs as well. A 2+2 course is available whereby students obtain their diploma in two years and can then continue, if they wish, to study for a further two years to obtain their degree. This arrangement is unique in Kuwait.
