Devops Engineer

Job description / Role

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Automate and manage cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) for applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and proactive issue resolution.
• Manage and automate containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes for efficient resource management and deployment across environments.
• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration between environments and improve automation practices.
• Develop scripts and automation tools using Python, Shell, Bash, or other languages to streamline manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure efficient management of application configurations, systems, and infrastructure
• Implement security practices for automated deployments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance standards.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for automated processes, deployment pipelines, infrastructure setups, and operational procedures.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize systems and processes for efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1+ years of experience in DevOps, with hands-on experience in automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and cloud infrastructure management.
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Salary:
KWD 1,300 to 1,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
