Our client currently conducts holiday camps in Kuwait and is opening a full-time activity centre, that will cater children from 2-12 years old. The philosophy of the company is to create a warm, loving, fun and safe environment where children are developmentally engaged in the activities we provide by using their innate curiosity, creativity, imagination, independence, and a love of learning and self-esteem.

Our client is hiring for a Director and Lead Educator to join their team in Kuwait. They want this candidate to be a caring and inspired educator who can create and deliver vibrant, innovative interdisciplinary learning opportunities alongside children to promote a culture of continuous learning.

This candidate will be reporting directly to the Owner and be representing the activity centre to the parents of the children and responsible for implementing activities. The position requires the candidate to have hands on experience in dealing with children, parents and managing staff. The candidate will also be responsible of developing strategies, programs and targets for the activity centre.

Salary:
KWD 1,000 to 2,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

The applicant will require a minimum of 3-5 years of experience dealing with children and creating and leading children’s activities. The candidate must have an outgoing and bubbly personality with a passion for working with children. The preferred experience is in Holiday Camps or Education. The ideal candidate will have exemplary interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and a friendly nurturing attitude. The candidate must be open to irregular working hours and working over the summer/festive periods. They are open to relocating a candidate if they are not already based in Kuwait.
