Job Description

Through your passion and motivation, you sell memorable experiences to guests who stay in your property. You are professional and knowledgeable about your property, and you build strong relationships and create bonds with your guests.

What you will be doing:

  • Ensure implementation of all sales-related policies and procedures and adhere to company and hotel policies.
  • Promote marketing awareness and leadership to all employees. Develop an organized, motivated, and cohesive sales team.
  • Develop, implement, maximize, monitor, and evaluate objectives, strategies, and activities of the Sales Department to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in rooms, food and beverage, and all hotel-related revenue streams.
  • Ensure that an effective and efficient day-to-day acquisition program, including administration and reporting system, is effectively organized and deployed.
  • Solicit group, transient, and/or banquet business, and reach consistent achievement of sales objectives.
  • Establish parameters, quotes, negotiate prices, and seal contracts.
  • Participate in tradeshows, conventions, and promotional events.
  • Maintain accounts, contact, activity, and business details.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the same role in a hotel field, a 5 Star hotel.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both verbal and non-verbal.
  • Extensive hotel operations experience required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of budget planning and financial controls.
  • Excellent selling and negotiation skills.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required.
  • University degree.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Input and access information in the property management system, computers, and point of sales system.
