Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a qualified, proactive, Montessori accredited Early Years Principal to join an Early Childhood Development Centre.

Comfortable with leading, creating a culture of excellence, and demonstrating a growth mindset for both the Centre, and in its community of teaching staff, this multi-disciplinary post would suit a leader with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience, combined with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior leadership role.

You should be a committed Montessori Leader, who strives to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families, while effectively and efficiently running all Centre operations.

You will be a passionate leader ready to take intellectual risks, meet challenges, and solve problems in a dynamic country of Kuwait. You will promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children under your care, and work cohesively with the Centre’s staff to create an environment of learning whilst effectively communicating with parents on the progress of their child.

In addition to your own development, you will work alongside the leadership executive team, to ensure the professional growth and talent development of the teaching team. Your aim is to create a striving school culture and an environment for children and families to build on their curiosities, research, and develop a lifelong passion for learning.

Essential requirements

• Candidates must meet international Montessori licensing standards for a Director/Principal role.
• Qualified Teacher Status: A degree-level qualification in teaching (e.g. PGCE or Bachelor’s in Education), or equivalent educational leadership qualification.
• Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Principal or Vice Principal in an international or bilingual pre-school and/or Early Years setting.
