Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the entity businesses finance and Controllership function and partnering with the General Manager in driving financial performance and business growth.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with the General Manager and Business Leaders to drive a sustainable Growth culture. – Lead the Annual Operating Plan, ensure that plans fully reflect business initiatives, have been properly evaluated and assist with execution. – Preparing forecasts that are robust and challenging and should have full buy-in from the management team.
- Improve the rigor around Project controls, work with the Operations team to review project performance and monitor execution of projects on timely basis and within budget.
- Work with business leaders to review labor utilization, billability trends and advising on headcount planning.
- Responsible for Working capital and Free Cash flow forecast and actual performance for the business.
- Drive a culture focused on Cash – Integrity and timeliness of monthly reporting to the business management team including financial metrics and supporting analysis.
- Drive process and control improvements ensuring full compliance with Honeywell policies. Ensure that the business meets all Honeywell and statutory business control requirements,
- Oversee annual audits and all related activities.
- Oversee monthly Close process to ensure it is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure Compliance with US/Local GAAP reporting and Internal Controls and External Reporting Management
- Lead monthly/quarterly site balances sheet and account reconciliation reviews
- Manage quarterly management representation letter process.
- Oversee the implementation of corrective action plans related to internal control deficiencies
- Coordinate internal and external audits, including ownership of audit comments closure.
- Champion and lead projects related to process standardization, automation and internal control improvements.
- Play significant role in driving HOS Bronze initiatives
- Oversee physical inventories, fixed assets counts, tax compliance and statutory audit deliverables to ensure they are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Support special projects/strategic initiatives as required

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- MBA is an advantage
- Arabic speaking is an advantage
- CPA or Chartered Accountant with 10 year’s experience (or equivalent) required
- Managed independently the entire Accounts & Finance function of an organization for 4 years
- Self-motivated, demonstrates a strong desire to succeed and encourages excellence in peers and subordinates.
- Focuses efforts on those matters that affect in-country compliance environment and Honeywell resources
- Similar experience in a multinational or National company
- Communicates clearly and succinctly using written and verbal skills to influence, negotiate and collaborate effectively
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively with the business as a team member
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvement
