The successful expansion of our International operation has created an opportunity to attract a “best in class” Operations Finance Director for our Indian Division

Reporting to Regional Director-Kuwait, the Operations Director will be responsible for all aspects of the financial operations , financial management and organization effectiveness.

The Operations Director will be responsible for:
• Improving the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission, specifically support better management reporting, information flow and management business processes and organizational planning;
• Managing and increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, PRO Services, Finance, Proposals & Marketing, and IT), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions;
• Playing a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence;
• Overseeing overall financial management & tax risk evaluations, planning, systems and controls;
• Management of fiscal year budgets in coordination with the Managing Director;
• Development of individual program/project budgets;
• Invoicing to funding sources, including calculation of completed units of service;
• Payroll management, including tabulation of accrued employee benefits;
• Disbursement of checks for agency and third party expenses;
• Organization of fiscal documents, and;
• Regular meetings with the Managing Director regarding fiscal planning.

Financial Management
• Direct fiscal budgeting and planning process for the organization's fiscal budget;
• Develop and manage fiscal budget;
• Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of organization's financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals;
• Oversee short and long-term financial and managerial reporting;
• Managing day to day processing of accounts receivable and payable, producing reports as requested;
• Reconciling monthly activity, generating year-end reports, and fulfilling tax related requirements.
• Assisting Country Director in creating fiscal organizational budget and monitoring cash flow;
• Administering payroll and employee benefits and organizational insurance;
• Ensuring Finance Department requests are resolved and communicated in a timely manner to internal and external parties;
• Develop long-range forecasts and maintaining long-range financial plans, and;

Organizational Effectiveness
• Manage functions.
• Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services through improvements to each function (HR, PRO Services, Finance, Proposals & Marketing, QA and IT) as well as coordination and communication between functions.
• Drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
• Providing consulting services on matters related to fundraising, tax, and insurance questions, and business structure and growth.

Organizational Leadership
• Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Finance.
• Minimum period of 15 years work experience.
• Strong operational skills,
• Strong business management and projects controls experience.
• Self-innovated, a leader, and able to work under no supervision in a heavy workload environment. This will be beside a quality sense of defining management and administrative problems, collecting appropriate and related data to establish solutions.
• Ability to develop and roll out systems, procedures and work flow processes, and contribute to their improvement.
• Multinational Consultancy Firm background preferred.
• Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret extensive variety instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
