Garden Supervisor

Job description / Role

We are looking for an experienced and professional Garden Supervisor to manage the landscaping and horticultural maintenance for a group of private VIP villas as well as a large public park in Shuwaikh, Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both high-end residential landscaping and large-scale public garden management, with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

General Duties:
* Lead and coordinate gardening teams across both sites.
* Create maintenance schedules and work plans.
* Ensure the proper use and maintenance of gardening tools and equipment.
* Identify and treat plant diseases and pest issues.
* Ensure safety protocols are followed by the gardening team.
* Maintain inventory and request supplies as needed.

Private Villa maintenance:
* Maintain high-standard gardens and green spaces at VIP private villas.
* Ensure privacy, discretion, and top-quality garden aesthetics.
* Handle seasonal planting, trimming, pruning, irrigation, and general garden care.
* Work closely with villa management to accommodate design and maintenance preferences.

Public Park maintenance:
* Oversee daily operations and maintenance of a large public park area.
* Supervise a team of gardeners and laborers to ensure cleanliness and plant health.
* Manage landscaping projects and community-friendly green spaces.
* Monitor park facilities related to landscaping (lawns, trees, flower beds, irrigation, etc.).

* Minimum 7 years of experience in a supervisory role in landscaping or horticulture.
* Experience with both private/residential gardens and public parks is a strong advantage.
* Solid knowledge of regional plants, soil, and irrigation systems.
* Excellent leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to train and guide staff with a hands-on approach.
* Familiarity with landscape design principles is a plus.
* Experience in the Gulf region is preferred; previous experience in Kuwait is a strong advantage.
