General Manager

Job description / Role

Quest is working with a huge manufacturing and distribution group in the Middle East, who is looking for a General Manager to joint their team in Kuwait. We are looking for an Arabic speaking candidate with proven experience in different business areas - especially in operations, sales & marketing, and finance – who will manage their AC business unit.

As a General Manager, you will:

- Manage daily operations and develop growth strategies for the business unit
- Manage finance, budgets and optimize expenses
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
- Set policies and processes; provide recommendations for improvements
- Direct management of key functional managers and executives in the business unit
- Ensure the overall delivery and quality of the unit's offerings to customers
- Recruit, manage, and train new employees
- Report key results to upper management

Requirements

- At least 6 years’ experience in the same role or capacity
- Engineering background, with experience handling HVAC products
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing teams
- Excellent people management, stakeholder management, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Senior-level verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic preferred
