Job description / Role

Responsibilities include:
- Meeting target budgets for new large corporate client relationships comprising assets and liability product sales and profits for the Corporate function, in accordance with overall corporate budget and strategy.
- Maintain and deepen relationships with the existing large corporate customers as well as building new relationships.

One of the leading Banks in Kuwait is looking for a General Manager of Corporate Banking.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in Finance.
• 15 – 20 years of banking experience, with at least 5 years in a senior position with responsibility for strategy formulation and implementation.
• Good understanding and appreciation of risk management concepts and their impact and applicability for business.
• Appreciation of local business and economic environment.
• Marketing know-how.
• Planning and analytical ability
• Good people management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Arabic & English).

Other related information:
The job is based in Kuwait and the jobholder is required to be conversant with local business and economic conditions as well as statutory and regulatory requirements for sustenance of business in Kuwait. Priority should be given to Kuwaiti Nationals.
