Job description / Role
Charterhouse is exclusively working with a prominent restaurant group who are looking to hire a culinary superstar to join their team as Head Chef, overseeing their newest venue, the latest meat destination to open in Kuwait later this year.
Your main responsibilities will be to oversee the day to day operations of the kitchen and ensure the highest standards are maintained at all times. You will confidently manage and develop a comprehensive elevated meat focused menu, working with an array of techniques and the latest trends. You will oversee the inventory, cost control and budget, whilst also constantly working to develop the menu to keep it fresh and exciting for the customers.
Requirements
The successful candidate is a culinary visionary, an Instagram dream, creating culinary masterpieces to satisfy the palate and the gram. The ideal candidate will be the face of the restaurant developing both menus and relationships, a charismatic chef who loves to showcase a culinary performance for the customers. You must be an energetic, outgoing and confident leader, someone to drive the kitchen to continually excel, always raising the bar higher. You should have experience in a stand-alone restaurant and meat must be your passion, with experience in fusion with flavors such as Asian and South American. Due to current restrictions candidates currently based in the GCC will be considered.
