Head of Compliance

Job description / Role

Develops, monitors and implements strategies, work plans, and policies-under the guidance of the principles issued by Basil Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) inside of Kuwait and outside of Kuwait to insure regulatory compliance with local and foreign regulatory agencies such as CBK, and not limited to; CMA, BURSA, MOC, MOCF, COSOB, BCCL, Conceal du marché financier, ISC, BRSA, CMBA. Administers products & services design in compliance with the set rules and regulations and operational effectiveness policies. Assist senior management in managing effectively the compliance risks, and monitoring compliance with bank policies.

You should currently be based in Kuwait and working as a head of compliance, risk, AML or audit preferably with a bank or investment company.
