Head of Internal Audit

Job description / Role

Our client, a leading corporate bank here in the region, is looking for a Head of Internal Audit. Reporting to the Chief of Internal Audit the responsible person will manage the end to end Audit function for the bank and their international portfolio.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Management of all local and international auditable entities.
- Work closely with the Chief of Internal Audit in managing the international operations and management of the audit plan.
- Ensure timely completion/execution of the approved annual audit plan.
- Ensure effectiveness of adopted policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the continuous management and improvement of existing policies and procedures across the bank.
- Candidates MUST have experience in a senior position with a corporate banking function.

Requirements

- Experience in a corporate banking function
- Over 10 years of experience
- Degree in finance/accounting or similar
- Qualified accounting candidates are preferred
- Big 4 experience is desirable but not essential
