Head of Regulatory Economics and Tariffs - Kuwait

Our client a Telecommunications Company is seeking a Head of Regulatory Economics and Tariffs.

Key areas of accountability will include: Regulatory Economics, TRA Engagement and Strategic Planning, with the Head of Regulatory Economics and Tariffs being required to:
* Evaluate and Analyze the TRA framework & bylaws and creation of the in-house regulatory framework and process for the CITRA handling (create the comparison of GCC TRA'S responsibility matrix and best practice areas.
* Evaluate & study the compliance of the telecom services,products,offers and promotions.
* Evaluate tariffing and pricing criteria of the of the internal proposed tariff and rate changes & provide market benchmarks and feasibility studies.
* Review, evaluate and analyze the cost impact of the telecom charges, tariff changes /caps and the new telco licenses or services expected charges /taxation.
* Provide & conduct the business rules of the competition /anti competition guidelines.
* Other duties as required.

Job Offer
Circa 3,000 KWD plus annual flights and medical insurance.

Requirements

* Bachelor degree in Engineering /Business/ Legal or related discipline and appropriate registration with a recognized professional institute.
* 8+ years professional experience with regulatory submissions for Telecommunication Business.
* Knowledge of Business legislation, Telecommunication regulatory environment, Telecommunication Regulatory Authority, Telecommunications sector requirements.
* Ability to operate in a diverse multicultural, multinational work environment, exhibiting appropriate sensitivities.
* Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Word etc.
* Excellent command of both written and verbal Arabic and English.
* Candidates resident and working in Oman or Bahrain will be preferred.
