Employment: Full Time

KN Kuwait is looking for a passionate and proactive person to manage and grow a portfolio of appropriate size “Telesales” customers, and to source and provide qualified potential prospect sales leads to Sales.

Job Description
• Account management of an agreed number of assigned customers that fit the “Telesales” customer criteria.
• Prospect for new business opportunities.
• Build and manage a quality pipeline of sales opportunities within scope of “Telesales” criteria.
• Qualify and follow-up on sales leads received, and based on initial profiling qualification, either assign to appropriate field sales or, if within telesales criteria add to own portfolio for development.
• Process quotation requests from own customers, prepare, send and follow up on quotations submitted to client for approval, register in the Quotation log.
• Collaborate with local pricing desk for quotation preparation as per client requirement, and when required and agreed with management, correspond with various Kuehne-Nagel offices for rates and shipments updates.
• Support any campaigns in respect of qualification of potential new customers, customer downtrading, additional business from existing customers or product campaigns i.e. FreightNet, KN Sure etc.
• Where necessary visit customers to progress a sale or resolve any issues i.e. invoice disputes, service failures etc. This includes taking, where appropriate, the necessary members of the product teams to help support the objective of the meeting.
• Liaise with TNP in Operations and other departments as needed to resolve customer issues.
• Update CoreLog (CRM tool) on a regular basis with all necessary information i.e. contact details, opportunities, calls & visits etc.
• On board new Telesales customers to ensure a smooth transition in to the business, this includes setting up Credit Facility.
• Pro-actively identify additional opportunities from existing customers and sell in additional services and value added services where appropriate i.e. Overland, KN FreightNet, Nacora etc.
• Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
• When required provide cover to the Sales team for vacations and sickness.
• Additional duties/tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Your skills and experience
• At least 3 years local market experience in Freight Forwarding Sales
• Proven “telesales” record
• Strong customer focus
• Independent, self-motivated and highly disciplined
• High level of commercial acumen
• Able to Work in Team Environment
• Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Strong Customer Focus
• Good Negotiation Skills
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills, and a ‘can-do’ attitude
• Good analytic and problem solving skills
