Investment Analyst

Job description / Role

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of global, regional, and local markets, including equity, fixed income, real estate, and alternative investments.
• Monitor financial news, economic data, and geopolitical developments that could impact investment markets.
• Analyze financial reports, balance sheets, income statements, and other key metrics to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
• Develop financial models to project the future performance of investment opportunities.
• Perform company valuation using various methods such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transactions.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing financial data, investment recommendations, and market trends.
• Assist in monitoring the performance of existing investment portfolios.
• Track portfolio performance against benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provide recommendations for portfolio rebalancing, risk mitigation, and optimization.
• Support the development of investment strategies and asset allocation recommendations in line with the company’s or clients' goals.
• Contribute to the preparation of investment proposals, offering insights into risk, return, and market dynamics.

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Min 1 year of experience in investment analysis, financial modeling, or asset management.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, Bloomberg Terminal, and other financial software. Familiarity with portfolio management tools and risk analysis software is a plus.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
• Ability to interpret financial statements, economic indicators, and market trends.

Salary:
KWD 1,300 to 1,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
