BlackStone eIT is on the lookout for a talented Java developer to join our growing team. As a Java developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of innovative software solutions. This role requires a robust understanding of Java programming and a passion for delivering high-quality applications. You will work alongside other developers and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of our software projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code while following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance the development process.
• Assist in database design and management.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience in creating microservices, including those for payments, refunds, reconciliation, and workflow services.
• Knowledgeable in MongoDB, Kafka, and API integration (REST/SOAP).
• Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Software AG WebMethods API Gateway and asynchronous communication.
• Practical experience in financial services or payment solutions.
• Skilled in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong abilities in debugging, problem-solving, and analysis.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
