Landscape Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Landscape Supervisor to oversee and manage the landscape maintenance and supervision for a private employer for the maintenance of multiple villas and a large public park based in Shuwaikh.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the landscapes of both the private villas and the public park are maintained to the highest standards.
This is a hands-on supervisory role that requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage the landscape maintenance for the employer’s private villas, ensuring that gardens, lawns, pathways, and outdoor spaces are always in pristine condition.
• Oversee the maintenance and care of a large public garden, ensuring it is well-kept and accessible for the public. This includes managing flower beds, trees, lawns, water features, and other garden elements.
• Lead and coordinate a team of landscapers, ensuring efficient daily operations, clear communication, and high standards of work.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule for both the private estates and the public garden, covering tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, watering, planting, fertilization, and pest control.
• Conduct regular inspections of the private villas and public garden to assess the condition of the landscape and identify areas that require improvement or repair.
• Ensure proper irrigation systems are functioning effectively and monitor water usage to maintain sustainable practices.
• Oversee the upkeep of outdoor furniture, structures, and hardscaping elements, ensuring they are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing.
• Manage inventory of plants, materials, and equipment, ensuring that all resources are used efficiently and orders are made as needed.
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and contractors for any additional landscape requirements or special projects.
• Provide reports on landscape maintenance activities, including work completed, budget updates, and recommendations for future improvements.
• Enforce health and safety regulations within the landscape team and ensure that safety protocols are followed.
• Stay informed on the latest landscape trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve the landscape management processes.

• At least 7 years of experience in landscape maintenance and supervision, with a strong understanding of horticulture, irrigation systems, and landscape design.
• Proven experience managing landscaping operations for private estates and public gardens.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience training and developing staff.
• Knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices, including water conservation and organic gardening methods.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address landscape challenges efficiently.
• Proficient in the use of landscape maintenance tools and machinery, including lawnmowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems.
• Knowledge of pest control methods and plant care techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with the employer, team members, contractors, and suppliers.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred, but not mandatory.

Job Requirements:
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work flexible hours and manage the needs of both private and public landscape areas.
