Marketing Executive - Starbucks - Kuwait

The role sits within the Starbucks's Marketing team, the person will be responsible for supporting the timely and effective delivery of all loyalty campaigns from content creation to execution. They will also be responsible for updating the website and ensure the brands locations online are kept up to date.

Key Performance Areas:

Able to write engaging, well-polished copy in English that is consistent with the brands tone.

Create content for email, Starbucks Loyalty program and website that caters to the various customer segments and is keeping with the marketing calendar.

Work with designers to build the creative elements of the various communications.

Take full ownership of the tasks & campaigns and understanding the business impact of the task at hand.

Ensure content is reviewed so it follows the various guidelines (internal & external).

Have experience with creating and managing campaign timelines to ensure that all campaign assets are collated in a timely manner from either host brand or internal teams.

Follow up with all stakeholders throughout the campaign duration.

Able to create and understand basic reports in PowerPoint or Excel.

Track and communicate campaign progress

Highlight opportunities to improve campaigns.

Requirements

Knowledge:

Wider knowledge of digital marketing channels, such as mobile, web and email would be ideal.

General understanding of the optimal use of customer data.

Experience:

1+ years marketing experience.

Managed or working experience with global brand/s is advantageous but not essential.

Experience with using data in in CRM campaigns.

Basic understanding of updating websites through a CMS

Skills:

Candidate should be a native English speaker with impeccable grammar and a flare for writing compelling content. Understanding of Arabic is advantageous but not essential.

Commercially savvy and experience managing activity against sales/revenue targets

Collaborative in approach and confident influencing stakeholders such as operational teams and management.

Innovative and passionate about digital marketing & CRM in general.

Experience working across multiple markets (awareness of the MENA market considered as a plus)

Software Skills:

PowerPoint & Word: Moderate user

Excel: Moderate user (should know to create pivot tables, graphs and do basic formulas)

Outlook: Basic email etiquette (setting out of office, clear email communication with grammar and spell check, filing and sorting emails)
