Position Summary

Based in Kuwait, you will be responsible for communicating to medical/paramedical contacts about Nestle Infant Nutrition products, their features, benefits and their appropriate use whenever mothers are unable or choose not to breastfeed their babies. This must all be done within guidelines set by Nestle Middle East Nutrition in compliance with WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk substitutes, Nestle Instructions and local country codes.

A day in the life of:

- Your first task for the day is all about advising and meetings. As a medical delegate, a big part of your work is promoting our belief that breastfeeding is best for babies and is recommendable over all other feeding alternatives. This means meeting up with medical and paramedical contacts and providing reliable information on infant nutrition and infant feeding practices.
- After a quick coffee break and a look through your emails, it is time for some admin. Part of your job requires monitoring and reporting our competitors' activities to the Medical Field Manager. From new competitor products to communication strategies, your role demands an understanding of the business landscape we work in and how our competition operates.
- As a personal responsibility, our medical delegate must adhere and comply to the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk substitutes and Nestle Instructions and local country codes when undertaking any activity. This includes our strictest requirement that you will not seek contact with, or give advice to pregnant women, or mothers of infants and young children regarding Infant Formula in your business capacity.

Requirements

What Will Make You Successful?

- Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences/Medicine/Nutrition or Biology degree. Previous experience as a Medical Delegate is desirable
- In-depth knowledge of WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk substitutes and Nestle Instructions and local country codes
- Expertise in Nestle Nutrition Product Knowledge and in Infant Nutrition in general.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
