Network Engineer - CCIE

Job description / Role

Client is a world leading Telecoms Service Provider is seeking an experienced Network engineer for a long term contract based in Kuwait.

Please note that you will need to speak fluent Arabic and English for this role.

As the Network engineer some of your responsibilities will include the following:
- Perform analysis and diagnosis of medium complexity networking problems.
- Perform analysis of medium complexity network designs.
- Assist with architectural network designs for medium scale networks
- Make performance-engineering recommendations.
- Jointly review network requirements and High Level Design.
- Jointly review and document Low Level Design.
- Jointly review Implementation/ Change Management Plans.
- Provides on-site deployment support.
- Provide consultative support in Operation/Optimization of installed networks.
- Assist in generation of standard project documentation including test plans.
- Assist in execution of project delivery including network staging, implementation and handover
- Provide design assistance and performance engineering services, network design work for large-scale networks.
- Work under limited supervision and receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and processes outlined.
- Perform analysis and diagnosis of highly complex networking problems.
- Perform analysis of highly complex network designs.
- Plan and execute highly complex Network Upgrade and Network Migration activity.
- Assist customer with deployment and strategy of highly complex tools and related Network Management Systems
- Leads design workshop
- Acts as a focal point for most complex network problem resolution

Requirements

- CCIE certified
- English / Arabic speaker
- Expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.
- Large-scale network design skills.
- In-depth knowledge of network management, network availability & capacity planning.
- Undertake support as designated engineer for large-scale networks. Must possess strong technical account management skills.

- Very Strong Consulting and communication skills
- Expert level knowledge in (2) of the following and strong knowledge in all other areas of: IP internetworking, LAN Switching, ATM & Voice technologies, IP Telephony, Optical, Wireless, IPCC. WAN protocols (Frame Relay, ISDN). IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
- Superior level internetworking troubleshooting in a medium / large-scale network environment.
- Undertake support as designated Consultant for a medium-scale network.
- Ability to leverage technical expertise of others.
