Your new company
A leading oil & gas company is looking for an EA to join operations in their Ahmadi, Kuwait Office. They are well established within the oil & gas industry and recognised on a global scale.

Your new role
In this role, you will be providing day-to-day support to the Chairman/CEO; typical duties will include: being the first point of contact to the Chairman/CEO office and being a strong gatekeeper for all calls and visitors. Arranging extensive worldwide travel, applying for any necessary foreign visas, coordinating the logistics and putting together accurate itineraries. Within the office, you will be responsible for scheduling meetings as requested; which may include booking meeting rooms, creating agendas and producing all documentation required for the meetings. At times, you will need to co-ordinate all necessary meeting logistics for both management and guests, arrange catering if required and ensure video conference is set up if necessary. You will be completing weekly time and expense reports, as well as creating any other reports and documents on CEO’s behalf. You will be responsible for correspondence on behalf of the CEO and management including: taking messages, following up on voicemail recordings in a timely manner, reviewing, sorting and prioritising email and both incoming and outgoing mail, again providing correspondence where appropriate. You may be required to carry out research tasks as directed by the management. As well as the above, you will be providing all other general administrative support as requested, such as; copying, binding and faxing documents and creating and maintaining internal filing systems.


What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a fluent English speaker, with a solid background in administration and EA/PA support. The addition of Arabic will be beneficial to the role, but is not essential. Preferably you will have had exposure to the oil & gas sector and will have provided support to C-level individuals. You will have an awareness of visa requirements for foreign travel and will have previously dealt with both local and international travel. You will be highly computer literate; especially familiar with the use of all Microsoft office packages. The perfect candidate will be a friendly team player with excellent communication skills, be professionally presented as well as be able to multi-task and use initiative. The traits of the successful candidate will include: strong personality, able to thrive in a busy, challenging environment and able to think on their feet.
